The journey to Cycle 10k for CSSEF – Twilight Runway Challenge

Week 10 and 11

I’ve been a little quiet these last couple of weeks, between the weather, what wind and rain we had and work.

I have been out, slowly increasing my distance once again.  I’m not gonna hide the fact it has been challenging, cycling whilst be completely aware of what each part of my body is doing has been tough.  Keeping that concentration there so that my body doesn’t go back to wanting to lean in a certain way or not be balanced.  But I am getting there.

Last week I kept the cycles nice and short to allow my body to work it out and not overload my brain even more.

This week however I started increasing the distance again and have completed two 4.6k cycles.  Friday was definitely a lets try and see what happens with a longer distance, thankfully the risk paid off without any hiccups.

Today I was joined once again by the lovely Nicole.  Always great to have company.

The beauty of the hawthorn out in flower was spectacular, one particular spot really look like snow rather than flowers from a distance.  Just gorgeous.

Please if you feel able to share my posts, to raise awareness of the challenge I have set myself and help me reach my fundraising goal for this very worthy charity for deaf children.

If you would like to know why more about this challenge and perhaps donate to this amazing charity if you feel able
